William “Bill” DuBois Washburn, a lifelong resident of Fallon passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2022, at Banner Hospital after a short illness. Bill was born May 9, 1942, in Fallon and graduated from Churchill County High School.
Bill was a farmer. He loved the land and his animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gwen, and daughter-in-law, Tuttie Washburn. Bill is survived by his sister Lois Whealey, his sons Wesley and Wayne, granddaughters Monica, Brittany, Rine, and Sarah along with 3 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2 p.m. followed by a potluck at The Gardens.
