Three-Semi Collision Blocks Sheckler Road

Three-Semi Collision Blocks Sheckler Road
Semi-truck at the scene near 4545 Sheckler Road

Author: Jennie Norcutt

An early evening collision involving three semi-truck and trailers closed Sheckler Road for several hours Tuesday, January 11. One of the truck and trailer units was attempting to pull another truck and trailer unit up onto Sheckler Road. The driver of the third truck with a fully loaded trailer was traveling eastbound and failed to notice that both lanes were blocked until it was too late for him to stop safely. He ended up going off the north side of the road into an irrigation ditch before coming to a stop. Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the scene, closing Sheckler Road in both directions. Amazingly, no one was injured. The same cannot be said for the trucks.

She is most definitely a collaborator and is very well known throughout the state for her assistance as a Nevada SBDC business advisor, especially related to agriculture and local food entrepreneurship and systems. Her spirit radiates! His mother, father, Karen and Trent were neighbors of ours in Tonopah, Nevada. We moved to Fallon first and then the Kroll's later moved there also. Mother and Wanda were good friends. My brother Michael and Trent were playmates in Tonopah. Mother and my three little children visited the family at their ranch in Fallon. My condolences to Frank's family. May you be comforted to know that I care and I pray you will be comforted by your memories of Frank.
