This is a photo of all the third-grade winners of the first annual Balloons Over EC Best Elementary Parade. Third grade students read the book Balloons over Broadway. We learned how the balloons and floats are created for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Then we completed a stem activity where students had to create a balloon/float for our parade, before we paraded around all the second-grade classrooms where students voted for their favorites. It was a super fun activity and we will be having this tradition for many years to come Life is good at The Best!
