Bits & Pieces - Just For You

Bits & Pieces - Just For You
Staff Report -- Two friends who have worked together for the past 23 years at Crystal Cleaners, decided to slow down a bit and open a tailoring and embroidery shop. Crystal Wickware and Francie Lee are open for business in their shop at 960 Auction Road, Suite D, just down from Domino's Pizza. Crystal was born and raised in Fallon, while Francie is a transplat of 30 years, compliments of the Navy. Crystal is married to Stan and has two sons and one grandson. Francie is married to Dennis and they have two sons, one daughter and three grandchildren. Crystal has been embroidering for 20 years and likes to do custom work with customer input. She has gift ideas for all occasions. She can embroider on anything she can get into a hoop. She encourages customers to stop in and watch the fascinating process. Francie has been sewing and doing alterations for over 30 years. She has a good knowledge of military patches and uniforms, and says that no job is too small. She is also making items for sale from eprons and pillows to table runners. She does alterations on wedding and prom dresses as well. Crystal has also provided Greenwave letterman jackets for years and customers can still get jackets, along with all the available patches. There are also a selection of greenwave clothing items available. Krotchet by Kristen items are also available in the shop.   Support local, independent news – contribute to The Fallon Post, your non-profit (501c3) online news source for all things Fallon. We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
