Trailers are a big deal to Donnie Wezell and Garret Massey of MnW Trailer Repair, so much so that this past December they started a mobile trailer repair business in Fallon. This new company specializes in semi-trailer repairs within a 100-mile radius of Fallon, and provides on-call and emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Wezell and Massey were both mechanics in the Marine Corp, working on trucks and trailers, and have been servicing semi-trailers ever since. They repair trailer floors, roll-up doors, liftgates, suspension components, auxiliary power units, hydraulic systems and lines, airline brakes, reefer boxes, and just about anything else on a semi-trailer.

They started their business in Fallon because they saw a need here for mobile repair services. The goods that are trailered in and around this valley are important, and so are the trailers that transport them. Downtime can be expensive in the trucking business, further emphasizing the importance of mobile trailer repair work.

Wezell and Massey always wanted to work for themselves. “We have been planning to open a business together for years, and Fallon was the right place to do it,” Wezell said.  Being in business for themselves has been eventful and worthwhile - and it's growing. They favor hiring another veteran as the mobile service demand increases, and may even expand into another state as the demand grows.

Wezell also provides mobile windshield repair services for cars, trucks and SUVs, and can work with an insurance company if needed. Repairing a stone chip before it spreads avoids having to replace the windshield down the road. As if he's not busy enough, Wezell also volunteers at an alpaca farm and has a little garden at the William Pennington Life Center. “I like to stay busy,” he said.

MnW's mobile service fees start at $75. The company can be reached by calling 775.205.0738, and more information can also be found on their website, www.MnWTrailerRepair.com and on their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/mobilesemitrailerrepair

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
