On April 16, 2021, the North Central Narcotic Task Force (NCNTF) along with assistance from the Fallon Police Department concluded a two-month-long methamphetamine investigation by executing a residential search warrant in the area of Serpa Place in Fallon, Nevada.

During the two-month investigation, 26 grams of methamphetamine, multiple prescription medications, and fentanyl patches were seized. During the search warrant, investigators located several grams of methamphetamine and a firearm. One individual was arrested during this investigation for charges related to the sales of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and is being held in the Churchill County Detention Center.

The NCNTF is comprised of investigators from the Nevada Department of Public Safety-Investigation Division, Fallon Police Department, and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office.

“The NCNTF’s mission is to identify, infiltrate, disrupt, and ultimately dismantle Drug Trafficking Organizations no matter their size. To that end, the Nevada Department of Public Safety- Investigation Division and the NCNTF routinely partner with local agencies to combat the distribution of controlled substances in the City of Fallon and Churchill County. This case shows the dedication of law enforcement to the safety of the community.” NCNTF Supervisor

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
