We would like to apologize for misprints in the April 9 edition and issue corrections:
In Pinwheels for Prevention Raise Awareness of Child Abuse, we stated that Sheriff Richard Hickox addressed the gathering, which was incorrect. Sheriff Hickox submitted a statement via Facebook addressing the importance of speaking up about child abuse and that one action could save a child. Justice Court Judge Benjamin Trotter attended the event and spoke briefly regarding his personal experience in a home where there was abuse growing up.
