Accountability is a wonderful thing. Humbling. Freeing. Sometimes. We’ve made a few mistakes in the past couple of weeks. People have brought it to our attention, and we’ve been cleaning up our messes. Some of them were serious. Hard lessons learned painfully.
We have to actually print corrections this week and we’re calling that, “Egg on Our Face.” I hope we caught them all. To the poor woman we made a bigamist, please accept our sincere apology.
I also forgot to pause our Mailchimp and sent out the Captain’s Log from three weeks ago not only two weeks ago, but also last week. So, you email people who missed the past two scintillating messages. Shake my head. I may send a last Thursday night message just for make-up.
We’re also reviving our “Love Letters” and printing some of the sweet things you all have said about and to us. Thank you so much. We had to do something to make ourselves feel better.
We always hope the Love Letters take up more space than the Egg section.
Best of all, we are finally getting around to launching the “Ask…” section. Several people have suggested we have an article where people can bring up topics around the community to find answers. We really want to thank our first brave friend who asked about campaign signs and gave us the opportunity to finally create this new feature.
