Restaurant Review -- JD Slingers

Restaurant Review -- JD Slingers

This week was our first time going to lunch as a full staff. That sounds crazy since we are constantly together in the office and order in on crazy printing days. But we’ve never actually sat down and just ate. J.D.’s was a great place to do that. The walls with photos of old photos of high school rodeos and some good old-school diner food brings out the best of conversations amongst anyone. Something about comfort food and a good vinyl-covered booth makes people want to sit around and tell stories for hours. Between all our choices, we had a feast arraying from Rocky Mountain Oysters to a classic breakfast sandwich. When I say J.D.’s offers comfort food - I mean any food for any comfort level you’re in. In case that wasn’t clear on the array of options from the picture... and the fact that I just said breakfast and Rocky Mountain Oysters in one breath.... J.D. Slingers has the perfect set-up for a good staff lunch session of any kind.

His mother, father, Karen and Trent were neighbors of ours in Tonopah, Nevada. We moved to Fallon first and then the Kroll's later moved there also. Mother and Wanda were good friends. My brother Michael and Trent were playmates in Tonopah. Mother and my three little children visited the family at their ranch in Fallon. My condolences to Frank's family. May you be comforted to know that I care and I pray you will be comforted by your memories of Frank. Sincerely,Comment publication date: 4/30/26, 11:51 AMComment source: Frank Robert Kroll
