Food Review -- Let's Talk About Brunch

Food Review -- Let's Talk About Brunch

While I am not recommending a specific restaurant this week. I want to talk about brunch. Brunch is one of the most underutilized ways to give some self-care, be more social, and overall eat amazing food. There are many options, even in a small town of ours, that work for any brunch.  Want a fast weekday brunch before a long workday? Jerry’s, Stockman’s, or the Depot are perfect for a good old-fashioned diner meal. Are you looking for something more fun with your best friend or favorite coworker? Courtyard Café & Bakery, Ana’s Café, Slanted Porch, or Maine Street Café work great. Or, after a good night out, are you looking for a good pastry and coffee brunch to debrief the night’s events with your group? In that case, a brunch situation can be had at the Telegraph Coffee & Tap, or Stone Cabin Coffee. So, whether you’ve never tried, you’re too busy, or get up too early... grab a friend, coworker, or some family and just have some brunch.

Comment author: Claude EzzellComment text: Paul was one of the most manifest men I have ever met. He was a good friends with my Dad and always had an entertaining story for the occasion. One of my most favorite stories Paul told dated back to the late 60s or early 70s and it revolved around him killing a deer way out in the mountains. Naturally the deer ran down into a deep canyon and died. Knowing that it would take him forever to haul it out he devised an awesome plan. After preparing the deer he drove back to NAS Fallon and rustled up a SAR crew and they flew out and picked up the deer. Of course it was labeled as a training flight but what the hell in those days you could do that sort of thing. Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again!!Comment publication date: 4/11/24, 1:15 PMComment source: Obituary - LCDR Paul N PflimlinComment author: THughesComment text: So sad to hear.
