I would love for one thing to come back into the popular culture scene: musical comedy. I don’t mean musicals that are funny. I am talking about classic performers and true entertainers. Remember the celebrities who could act, sing, dance, and be funny? Thanks to a great background shaped by my grandmother, I grew up enjoying a concert pianist named Victor Borge. He could play a mean Libestraum while making a great joke – and all while dressed in coat tails. A gold mine of old-school performers can still be enjoyed between box sets, streaming services, and good old YouTube. With a generation of online influencers, many of those in the spotlight are known for one talent or one subsection of the entire industry. But what’s not to love about getting a little bit of everything out of one guy?

Comment text: A little disappointed in the parade and fireworks. With it being America's 250th Birthday, there should have been some more history, as in pioneers walking behind wagons.....etc. And as for fireworks, should have been more spectacular, like seeing hearts, and smiling faces and an American flag all dine in fire works.
