On Feb 1, 2021, Michael Stanley Wesner passed away after a month-long battle with COVID Pneumonia. Mike was born on December 20, 1943, to parents, Glenn and Virginia Wesner, in Sacramento, California. He grew up on Liberty Island on the Delta for his first seven years, and then his family moved to Chico CA. He worked most of his life in construction and trucking, as a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, and driver. He and his wife Lana have lived in the Fallon area for 35 years.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a son Rex.
He is survived by his wife Lana, sons Jeff and Scott, daughter Sara Wesner-Steen, and eight grandchildren: his older Brother Don and Janice of Rutherford, CA, and older Sister Gaylene (Glenda) & husband Charles Edwards of Sonora, CA.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 11:00 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 755 Esmeralda Street, and the Internment will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley on Monday, February 08, 2021, at 2:30.
