A Special Thank You from Kid's Closet

A Special Thank You from Kid's Closet

Thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle for the "Mary Sauer Memorial Toy Closet” making it possible for every child in Foster Care to have a wonderful Christmas. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing community filled with so many giving hearts. You made it possible for every one of the foster children in our community to receive amazing Christmas presents.
Over $3,000 was raised and over 267 toys were given, along with 89 handmade quilts were given to each child. Ten of those were from my mom, Starr Friedenthal, as well as the beautiful raffle quilt and 79 quilts donated by the Hearts of Gold Quilters Club!
Stay tuned for future events for the foster kids and families along with fundraising opportunities. We hope to have our yearly 5k along with the Foster Kids Christmas Party but are still uncertain of how things will look as we head into the New Year and wait for COVID restrictions going forward.
For any questions you can contact [email protected] or Devere [email protected] anytime. Remember, year-round we take new clothing for boys and girls ages 0-17. The needs primarily are jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, shoes, sock and underclothes. Coats and pajamas are taken care of by local businesses.
Yearly toy donations are also accepted, popular toys are ones we have all loved like Legos, trucks and cars, blocks, board games and art kits. We take school supplies and coats year round.

A cost analysis should be created so we can see what is reasonable cost for that pasture. 3.the tenants of that pasture Have not changed for years .I think they need to open it up for all eligible applicants in Churchill County!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 9:25 AMComment source: Ranchers Push Back as NDOW Nearly Doubles Carson Pasture Grazing FeesComment author: David KittleComment text: I praise the Lord that you are now in your heavenly home and no longer in pain. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sophie. We still remember her from your visit to Edmonton when Sophie was just a little girl. I can still see her standing on the sidewalk beside your car and waving madly with a big smile as if she’d always known us and we were now best friends. We are so thankful to know a deep faith runs through your family and you know that Sophie is freed from her pain and is at home with her Lord and Saviour. May God grant all of you the peace and comfort that only God can give during this time of grief.Comment publication date: 4/20/26, 4:05 PMComment source: Sophia Katherine BehimerComment author: ThughesComment text: Thanks to all who came and stood up !
