Ralph Joseph Sanchez

On Friday, November 27th, Ralph Joseph Sanchez, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 94. Ralph was born on February 23, 1926, in Magdalena, New Mexico to Francisco Fajardo and Anna Maria (Pino) Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by a son, Anthony, a grandson Zarek, granddaughter Brianna, and his only remaining sibling, Bernice Santillan of Pasadena, CA. He was loved by many family, especially his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Francisco and Anna Sanchez, of Magdalena, NM, and his siblings, Frank, Benny, Eunice, and Billy.

Ralph loved music… singing and playing the guitar. While in the service he would record albums of songs and would mail them home to his Mom so she wouldn’t worry about him. He moved from NM to California in 1941. He lived in Pasadena, CA for over 30 years until his move to Fallon, NV in the mid-’70s. He was a delight to our community and could be seen riding his bike to the gym.

Ralph served 10 years in the army as a paratrooper and earned the rank of a sergeant.
