Churchill County releases new COVID numbers

Jim Barbee, county manager is confirming tonight that there are 113 active positive COVID cases in the community and eight people are currently hospitalized. There have been a total of 28 deaths, and 1,019 people have recovered. Churchill County has had 1,160 positive COVID cases in the community since March.

Community testing sites have administered 15,437 total COVID tests.

County staff is working to correct an inadvertent mistake on the COVID graphic on their webpage, and these numbers listed above are the correct numbers as of today, December 14th, according to Barbee.
