On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, Donovan Duane Fuentes passed away unexpectedly in Fallon. Donovan was born August 15, 1993 to Lisa A. Boots in Fallon, NV. He was also known as “Munch” to family and to many of his friends, “Donkey”.
Donovan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Austin Dyer. He is survived by his mother, Lisa, Dad Brian, brothers, Jordan and Bryson.; Aunt Maylynn Boots, uncle, Clinton Boots all of Fallon; grandpa, Wayne Dyer of Yomba, NV; Cousins, Daylon Boots, Shalene Valdez, Hayley Corleto, and Andre Gibson.
Donovan grew up in Yomba, Reese River, NV with his grandparents, Wayne and Doris Dyer, during his younger years. He attended school in Gabbs until the 3rd grade, then he and his family moved to Fallon, where he continued school and graduated from Churchill County High School in 2011.
He enjoyed hanging with his friends, worked numerous jobs during his years. He loved camping, fishing and hunting with his family. Donovan had a big heart and cared for the people he was close to, he would make sure they were taken care of before he left and gave them all what he could give.; especially his aunt Maylynn and uncle Clinton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 4th from 5 to 7 pm at Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Drive in Fallon. Services will be held on Dec. 5th at 9:30 am, also at the Funeral Home Burial will follow in Yomba.
Because of Covid Masks and social distancing will be required and for the service on Saturday, it will be limited to Family and close friends.
