City Hall Closed to the Public Effective November 16th

The City of Fallon announced that, due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in our City and based on Governor Sisolak’s directive, City Hall will be closed to the public effective Monday, November 16th.  City staff will still be at work and available to assist citizens and businesses via telephone or electronic means during normal business hours.  City crews will also still be at work as they continue to operate and maintain the City’s utilities and other essential services.    

The City encourages citizens and businesses to call City Hall with any questions or inquiries they may have.  General City questions or inquiries should be made to 775.423.5104, Engineering/Building Department questions or inquiries should be made to 775.423.9863, Police Department questions or inquiries should be made to 775.423.2111, and Municipal Court questions or inquiries should be made to 775.423.6244.  The City also encourages all customers to make utility payments by phone, online via fallonnevada.gov/residents/utilities, or by using any of the four (4) utility payment dropbox locations throughout the city.

The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses.
