Adam Sandler knows what is expected from his films that come from Happy Madison Productions, and in Hubie Halloween, he delivered just that.
Hubie Halloween is a nice gift to the ultimate Adam Sandler fan. It gives them everything they remember from past films like Happy Gilmore, or The Waterboy if they were to be Halloween movies.
Sandler nods to characters of past films, casts his old friends, and new faces as well. The thing I find most interesting about Sandler films is that we expect the blatant silliness and physical gags, but there is a genuinely peaceful message we can all get behind in each movie.
Hubie Halloween gives audiences a silly Halloween movie for the full family, while swelling your heart for what we all feel in times like these – trying to help each other get through each day.
