Greenwave Wrestlers Bring Home Three State Titles — Team 4th

Three wrestlers from Churchill County High School returned from Winnemucca this weekend victorious. Senior Ben Dooley wrestled in the 285 weight class, winning the first place medal; Junior Tommy McCormick took his second state title wrestling 152; and Senior Sean McCormick earned his fourth state title, a feat that hasn’t been done before, wrestling 170. The boys earned 4th place for their team behind Spring Creek, 1st; Virgin Valley, 2nd; and Boulder City 3rd.
