Elizabeth B. Michaels “Betty” Passed away peacefully August 13, 2020 at Banner Churchill Hospital, Fallon Nevada with her daughter Leslee and son in law Ron by her side.
Betty was 83, born August 9, 1937 in Port Jefferson N.Y. to Reverend Lawrence R. Boyll and Rachel A. Boyll. Growing up with Brother Robert “Bob” Boyll, they moved frequently when their father was appointed to a new Church. This took them across the U.S. and overseas. Reverend Boyll was in the Air Force and was stationed in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Hawaii.
Betty's oldest daughter Kelly Michaels was born in Japan and Leslee Peterson (Michaels) was born in Hawaii. Moving to Glen Cove N.Y., Betty had son Mark F. Maker. In the early 80’s Betty and Mark moved to Phoenix Arizona where she lived until moving Empire Nevada where Husband Floyd lived with daughter Bernadetterose. Betty worked at US Gypsum in various positions until retirement, moving to Fallon, Nevada for retirement with husband Floyd.
Betty loved being with her family they meant the world to her.
She is survived by Husband Floyd of Fallon, Brother Bob, Daughter and son-in-law Leslee and Ron Peterson of Fallon, daughter Kelly of New York, daughter-in-law Kim Maker of Minnesota; Grandchildren Megan, Cjay, Cydney, Johnathan, Floyd, Samantha and Justin; Great grandchildren Emrys, Ryker and Donna.
Betty was proceeded in death by her Parents, Son Mark Maker and Daughter Bernadetterose D. Pavan.
No service have been planned. Her family will be gathering in the future. Arrangments are with Smith Family Funeral Home in Fallon 423-2255.
