New COVID Test Numbers: 24 Actives, 3,701 Tests Performed

Reporting test numbers locally delayed due to workload at State Public Health Lab

New COVID Test Numbers: 24 Actives, 3,701 Tests Performed

Churchill County’s most current COVID test numbers show that there are 24 active cases in the county, 11 recovered cases and one hospitalization. No further details are available on the hospitalized case. Total tests performed to date: 3,701. As of today, Churchill County has had a total of 36 positive cases since March.

Churchill County and the City of Fallon continue to offer free, drive-through COVID testing at the fairgrounds on Tuesdays for anyone wanting a test. Please call (775)423-6695, option 2, to schedule your appointment. While the test itself is fast and easy, results are taking about a week to get back.

County leadership continues to strongly urge those in vulnerable populations to take extra precautions to preserve their health and well-being by practicing social distancing and other health.
