Business Feature -- Skeeter's

An ice cream for a summer day
Business Feature -- Skeeter's
Skeeter’s on a warm afternoon. Viviane Ugalde/The Fallon Post

Skeeter’s is a small flashback to the 50s soda shops. Offering ice cream, smoothies, coffee, and Italian sodas in a pastel pink and blue seating areathey have a classic wooden bar with a classic feel.

The owners are famous for their ice cream sandwiches, which were formally offered exclusively at Sand Mountain. Since then, they have opened a brick and mortar store that has been operating for two years, and are a local business who supports other locals. Skeeters sells and uses Sandhill Dairy milk.

Skeeter’s is a cutout from Back to the Future placed sweetly in Fallon. They offer so many cold treats and a fun nostalgic environment. Along with their cold and tasty ice cream, they have backdrops hanging on a wall for you to use for the perfect summer Instagram post.

The staff is welcoming, fast, and are great to see when you want something cold to take with you to Sand Mountain, Lahontan, or your own front yard.

Skeeter’s Ice Cream, Cold Treats, and Coffees is located at 1525 W. Williams Ave. Near KFC and Papa Murphy’s.
