Law Enforcement Breaks Up Fight

On June 8, a male and female were walking on the north side of the Reno Highway near the intersection at Coleman Road. At this same time, a group of four people (3 males and 1 female) were walking north in the area of Casey Road on the south side of the Reno Highway.

The group of four subjects saw the group of two and due to an ongoing disagreement between the different groups, ran across the roadway and engaged in an altercation with the male subject from the other group. This altercation became physical, the male subject who was being attacked brandished a machete to get the others to back off. During this altercation, rocks were being thrown by members of both groups. No injuries were sustained by either party, no arrests were made at the time.

The investigation is ongoing.
