The Fallon Churchill Fire Department answered a fire call at 6:23 p.m. tonight at the corner of Pasture and Depp Roads. A travel trailer was fully engulfed when fire fighters arrived at the scene. The fire was put out by 7:00 p.m. and there were no injuries. According to Jared Dooley, Fire Chief, fire fighters will be on the scene for another hour for clean up efforts. The public is advised to stay out of the area if at all possible so as not to interfere with the fire response efforts.
The Fallon Churchill Fire Department is an all-volunteer organization and is the nation's first volunteer fire department to receive an ISO Class 1 rating.
