Obituary -- Wilmer Alexander Pettit
Wilmer Alexander Pettit (Bill), born March 16, 1929, to Alexander Keenan and Dorothy Gladys Pettit, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of February 1, 2020. His wife, Genevieve was by his side. Both are long time Fallon residence and moved here in 1977. He was predeceased by his son, William Clayton Pettit (Billy) and great grandson Desmen James Marcell. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Genevieive Pettit, Daughter- Mary Harrison, Sons Lee (and Melissa) Pettit, and Alex (and Kelly) Pettit,  grandchildren; Ryan (and Kasey)Harrison, Amanda (and Daniel) Longoria, and Lindsey Brock, Great grandchildren; Amber Pettit, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Nathaniel Kellis and Anthony, Corteo and Danika Longoria. Services are scheduled for February 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Southern Baptist Church in Fallon on Taylor St. followed by services at 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans Cemetary located in Fernley.     Sign up to receive updates and the Friday File email notices.
