Fire Department on Scene at House Fire

The Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department is on scene at a structure fire in the city between LaVerne and Ada Streets, north of Center Street. At this time, fire fighters believe that there are no injuries. A witness at the scene said she was standing near Jack-In-The-Box and heard a hissing noise right before she saw flames leap from the structure. The Fallon Post will continue to provide information as it becomes available. The public is advised to avoid the area.
