Obituary - Megan Lyn Bailey

Obituary - Megan Lyn Bailey
Megan Lyn Bailey passed away at Banner Churchill Hospital in Fallon, NV on 04 December 2019 at the age of 45 with her family and close friends at her side following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Megan is survived by her loving son, Jamison Ucci (Fallon, NV), her parents Donn and Lyn Sheldon (Fallon, NV), her father Garth Bailey (Redding, CA), brother Brandon Sheldon (Sparks, NV) and sister Bridgette Sheldon (Manteca, CA). Born in San Jose, CA in 1974, she graduated from Shasta High School in Redding, CA in 1991 and went on to attend Shasta College. She loved keeping current with the latest fashion trends and used her keen eye for design to bring every holiday in her home, and those of her close friends, to life with beautiful, personalized and unique decorations. A lover of all things Disney, she couldn’t be swayed from any opportunity to visit one of their theme parks. Her ability to make those around her feel special and loved will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, 23 January 2020. A separate notice will be made when plans are finalized. Memorial donations may be made to an education fund being established for her son at Wells Fargo.         Read all the local news at The Fallon Post.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
