McGowan family thank you

McGowan family thank you
We would like to thank family, friends, and the community for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.  Conner's service was beautiful due to the help of countless people. Conner touched many lives and the shear number of people that have reached out are a testimony to his life.  There are no words to fully express the feelings of love and overwhelming gratitude for our family, friends, and this community. At every turn, individuals and local business were and still are helping. To name a few: The Gardens Funeral Home, Stone Cabin, Kents Supply, Dream Pool and Spa, Louis Home Center, Marshall's Septic Care, Tumbleweed Sanitation, and the Comfort Inn.  From the love this community has shown, we have been touched beyond measure. We, along with all who love him, miss Conner more than can ever be explained, but through this all we are grateful, we are blessed, and we would like you all to know how much it means to have your support.       Support local, independent news – contribute to The Fallon Post, your non-profit (501c3) online news source for all things Fallon. Comment author: Patti Cole Comment text: Marie will be forever treasured in memories. The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses. Her dad Ted was my dad's brother. I never knew Ted or Betty, but I wish I did. I am 73 and live in IL. I am building my family tree and see where Betty has fit in. Blessings to you Curt and family.
