Daylight saving time ends Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 a.m. Clocks should be turned back one hour, giving residents an extra hour of sleep.
The time change marks the return to standard time, which will remain in effect until March 14, 2027.
Residents are also encouraged to use the time change as a reminder to check smoke alarms and replace batteries if needed.
