Performing Arts of Churchill County (PACC) will present “The Haunted Schoolhouse,” a youth musical written and directed by Tim Wuth, at the Fallon Theatre Oct. 29-31.
The story follows a group of students serving detention after school who make an unexpected discovery. Is their school building truly haunted? Are the students in danger, or is there another story to be told?
The production features 13 students in eighth through 10th grades representing six educational settings: Leadership Academy of Nevada, Veritas Preparatory School, Oasis Academy, Churchill County High School, Agape Church School, and homeschooling.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. Two additional performances will take place on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Tickets are $15 each, and seating is reserved. Tickets will be sold at the door if seats remain, but organizers recommend purchasing them in advance. The production runs approximately 60 minutes.
The Fallon Theatre offers accessible parking and wheelchair-accessible seating.
Audience members attending the 1 p.m. Halloween performance should be aware that Maine Street will close at noon that day. Parking will remain available behind the Fallon Theatre and in the City of Fallon parking lot adjacent to City Hall.
