U.S. 95 between Fallon and Interstate 80 will close overnight Oct. 3-4 while Union Pacific Railroad replaces a rail crossing.
The highway will be closed between I-80 and Tarzyn Road north of Fallon beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 3. The road is expected to reopen at noon Oct. 4.
Through traffic will not be able to travel between Fallon and I-80 during the closure. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes, including U.S. 50 and I-80.
The railroad work schedule is subject to change.
