Back Roads Vintage Market Marks 10 Years in Fallon

Back Roads Vintage Market Marks 10 Years in Fallon

Back Roads Vintage Market will mark its 10th anniversary Oct. 9-10 at the Rafter 3C Arena, a decade after the Fallon event began with vendors setting up in a field along the highway.

The twice-yearly market, founded in fall 2016, has grown to more than 50 vendors occupying more than 80 booths, according to organizers. The anniversary market will feature vintage and antique items, repurposed goods, farmhouse décor, handcrafted products, food, face painting, and live music.

“Ten years ago we set up in a field along the highway with no idea what this would become,” co-founder Jenny Young said. “We’re so blessed to have amazing vendors and shoppers who have grown this event into what it is.”

The fall market will be held indoors at the Rafter 3C Arena, 227 Sheckler Road. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

Admission is $10 on Friday and includes admission for both days. Saturday-only admission is $5. Children 12 and younger are admitted free, and parking is free.

The first 20 shoppers through the doors each day will receive a Back Roads Vintage Market tote bag.

Organizers credited support from the City of Fallon, Churchill County, the Fallon Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Fallon.
