The Churchill County High School volleyball team was swept in three sets at Truckee on Sept. 9, losing 25-19, 25-17, 15-18.
Raegan Johnson and Audrey Fruzza paced the Greenwave offense with nine kills apiece. Kalaya Downs anchored the defense and passing game, recording a double-double with 24 assists and 10 digs.
Fallon was scheduled to play Smith Valley in a non-league match Monday night and Debbie Smith Academy in a Northern 3A crossover match Tuesday, before going to Dayton Friday for its first Northern 3A match of the season at 6 p.m..
