On Thursday, Sept. 10, students and staff at Logos Christian Academy traded their school uniforms for pajamas as part of PJammin Day, a fundraiser with a meaningful purpose. Students made a donation for the opportunity to wear pajamas to school and bring a favorite stuffed animal along for the day. The fundraiser was organized to support a local Fallon teen who is battling cancer.
Through the generosity of Logos students and their families, $450 was raised to help with medical expenses and other costs associated with this difficult season. The fundraiser also provided an opportunity for students to learn that serving others can take many forms, including helping people they may not know personally.
Galatians 5:13 reminds us to “serve one another humbly in love.” PJammin Day allowed the students to put that message into action by showing compassion and generosity to a family in their own community.
