Churchill County School District will host PJammin for Kids with Cancer on Thursday, Sept. 24, and Friday, Sept. 25.
Northside Early Learning Center students and students in kindergarten and first grade are encouraged to wear pajamas on Thursday. Students in grades 2-12 are encouraged to participate Friday.
The event raises awareness of children undergoing cancer treatment, who often spend extended periods in their pajamas. Students wear pajamas to show support for those children.
Students are encouraged to wear pajamas and donate to support children affected by cancer. Donations of any amount will be accepted and will benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.
