Churchill Agencies, Tribe, Interfaith Plan for November Food Need
Community leaders are coming together to support families impacted by the ongoing federal shutdown and SNAP funding halt. Representatives from local agencies, churches, and the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe met last week to coordinate emergency food resources and volunteer efforts. Multiple food pantries, meal programs, and collection drives are being expanded to meet the growing need. Volunteer opportunities and assistance requests will be shared through JustServe.org and the Churchill County Chamber of Commerce. Flyers and online updates will list current food distribution times and locations.
