Viviane's Review - BlackkKlansman

Books - BlackkKlansman

In 1978 a Colorado police officer, Ron Stallworth, infiltrated and investigated one of the most ludicrous organizations in America – the Ku Klux Klan.

You may have seen the film in 2018, but the memoir from the real Ron Stallworth is all the more interesting.

Ron Stallworth started his career in the criminal justice system at a very early age, but made his way through the ranks of the Colorado Springs Police Department quickly.

This book covers his time in the Colorado Springs Police Department, and his memories of the undercover work he did into “undeterred cross burnings, exposed white supremacists in NORAD, and personally met David Duke.”

This book is a crazy course of events that reads like a crazy episode of a 70s cop show. It is a quick, interesting, and eye-opening read.
