Kathy was a light and encouragement to everyone she touched – as a wife and mom, in her work as a nurse, and in her ministry with CareNet. Kathy also served in the Army with the WACs before she married the love of her life. She will be greatly missed, but there is comfort in knowing her happiness and peace for eternity.

She is survived by her sister Janet Jewel Magnuson of Forks, WA; her daughters, Robin Stambaugh of Henderson NV, Barbara Rutledge of Loma Linda CA, and Sarah (Gene) Hurley of Fallon NV, and by multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family.

A public memorial will be held on Friday, February 24th at 3 pm at Parkside Bible Fellowship. A burial service will be held on March 11th at 1 pm at Otterbein Cemetery in Thayer, IA.
