Banner Auxiliary Holds Pin Ceremony Jo Petteruti Banner Auxiliary members received their pins during the February meeting.

Banner Auxiliary President Diana Edgmon and Membership Chairwoman Beverly Swirczek led the Pin Ceremony as part of the organization’s monthly meeting on February 13 when 50 Auxiliary members were recognized for donating an accumulated 155,219.75 volunteer hours. 

Awards were made in ten categories of donated hours in ranges that started at under 100 hours and went up to over 10,000 hours. Berte Harmon, one of the longest-standing members with 25 years of service has donated 23,532 hours since joining the group. Other ladies who have donated over 10,000 hours include Nancy Balash with 11,587 hours, Doris Joslyn with 11,706.25 hours, and Judy Adams with 13,100.25 hours. Each of the 50 members received a pin representing the range of the number of hours they have donated so far, with more than half of them in attendance.

    The Banner Auxiliary holds its meetings on the second Monday of each month. The board meeting begins at 9 a.m. and the general membership meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. Effective with the March meetings, both will now be held in the Fireside Room at Epworth Methodist Church, 280 Stillwater Avenue.
