Since October 2012, Soroptimist International of Fallon has donated over $104,000 to local non-profit organizations, and for scholarships and other programs.

The group also purchased equipment and plantings for Pioneer Park and sponsored a youth group therapy counseling program.

Scholarship awards included $16,000 for Live Your Dream, $13,000 for Frances Aguirre, $7,900 for Dream It Be It, and over $6,700 for other scholarships.

Donations to local organizations were upwards of $10,800 for the Meals On Wheels program, a communication system and other senior programs at the Life Center, $5,700 for Wishing Tree families, $4,300 to sponsor children, $3,700 for CCSD Students in Transition, $2,700 to Domestic Violence Intervention, and $1,600 to Room for Ruth. Annual events such as the Home and Garden Show, Quarter Auction, Adult Prom, Shed Sale, and many others allow this group of ladies to raise and contribute funds to these many beneficiaries.
