The Nevada Department of Agriculture is announcing the next Farm2Food Accelerator class and encouraging women farmers to be a part of this exciting opportunity.

Who is eligible for the Nevada 2022-2023 program? Are you a farmer with a value-added food or beverage product or product idea? Are you a food or beverage entrepreneur whose processed product or product idea consists of ingredients sourced in Nevada?

If you answer “that’s me!” to either of the following, we encourage you to apply. The Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) is seeking participants for the 2022-2023 Nevada Farm2Food Accelerator program. The Farm2Food Accelerator empowers women farmers and entrepreneurs to grow their food and beverage businesses. The 15-week program will run between November 2022 – March 2023.

Through this program, participants will connect with a community of women farmers, food entrepreneurs, and food experts; launch a new food/beverage product or enhance an existing product; participate in online live 75-minute lunchtime weekly discussions; get free consultations and "office hours" with experts; and attend a national or regional food show.

Selected women will join the course at no-cost to the participant thanks to federal funds to help support Nevada's agriculture and broader community. In return, participants agree to provide feedback to the NDA on the program. Visit www.f2faccelerator.org to register for an info session and fill out an application. The next program starts November 2022.
