Monte Morrison has been selected as the 2022 Ben Holt Geothermal Power Plant Award winner by the Geothermal Rising Association. The Holt Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of geothermal plant design, construction, and other surface utilization, focusing on innovation.
Morrison’s selection highlights his dedication to the geothermal industry and his contributions and impact on the geothermal community.
The award is set to be presented at the Geothermal Rising Conference in Reno at the end of August.
Morrison is a third-generation Nevadan, a graduate of UNR, and a longtime resident of Fallon. He is currently the Vice President of Geothermal Technology for Cyrq Energy, Inc.
