Obituary -- Patricia Jean Norcutt  Patty Norcutt with Bubba
October 7, 1944 to April 26, 2021

We lost Patty early on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Patricia Jean Heaverne was born on October 7, 1944, in Oregon.  She moved to Fallon as a young girl in 1951.  She met the love of her life, Norman Norcutt when they were in high school, and they later married on October 9, 1962.  Of their 59 years of marriage, Norman and Patty had two sons, Wayne and Frank.

Patty had a passion for horses and loved them all.  She was such a great horsewoman, taking after her father Pat. She spent most of her life by Norm's side working on ranches and cowboying. Patty delighted in cooking and was known for her wonderful pies and sourdough biscuits.  She will be greatly missed by our family and her many relatives and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Norman, sons, Wayne (Vonda), Frank (Lori), and her four grandchildren, Devin, Jordan, Dylan, and Kayla: brother, Cliff Heaverne (Sally), and many nephews and nieces.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Reta Heaverne.

Patty was laid to rest at a private family graveside service on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Churchill County Cemetery.  There will be a Celebration of Life held in Fallon at a later time for all friends and family to attend.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Gardens Funeral Home, 775 423-8928.

I am sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a parent. I remember her as a rodeo mom photographer hanging on to a fence or tucked inside an arena. She has truly left a legacy of beautiful rodeo photos that myself and many others have from our high school rodeo days to cherish. Patty was a treasure to our rodeo family and 8 years ago she kindly gave us her very large box full of rodeo proofs from the 80's for our high school rodeo reunion. I will always think of her whenever I look at my photos with the cute little "P.N." Cowboy hat she put on all her photos. Rest in Peace Cowgirl. Wayne, Frank and Norm may God grant you comfort through this tough time.
