It was one of the first ‘modern’ food joints in town, and Courtyard Café and Bakery is still as delicious and welcoming as ever.
The fresh made baked good – as if that wasn’t a high enough selling point – is what makes your mouth water when you pull into the parking lot of the café. However, their entire menu is full of tasty sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, and dare I say frittatas.
I love a classic breakfast sandwich, and Courtyard has one of the best. A simple yet perfectly toasted bread, that squishes a medium egg’s yolk on just crispy enough bacon is enough to make my mouth water while I write this.
The staff gave me my egg sandwich with a smile, warm potatoes, and a tasty chai latte.
I know that Courtyard Café and Bakery is already an award-winning, and popular establishment among the community, but you don’t fix what isn’t broke. Instead – you eat a tasty breakfast sandwich from Courtyard Café and Bakery.

I agree that their food is delicious, but my favorite is their lunch menu. The bread on their Beef Dip sandwich is the perfect density and texture to sop up their flavorful au jus and their coleslaw with cilantro is tasty. They also make a good vegetable soup- the broth is the best flavor profile I have ever had in a vegetable soup. I had a cupcake from there once with an Oreo on top that had such perfect frosting, the exact right sweetness level. Breakfast or lunch this restaurant is a great choice.
