Churchill Economic Development Authority and the Fallon Chamber of Commerce have joined forces and are now co-located in the CEDA office at 448 W. Williams. Each organization will continue providing their individual services; the Chamber acting as an organization made up of local businesses that supports, educates, and advocates on behalf of the local business community, and CEDA supporting small businesses as they get started, meet regulations, find lending, and attracting new business to the area.
The Chamber has been located at 55 N. Taylor in the old Dodge House, owned by Churchill County, for several years but moved recently to make room for the new Churchill County Public Defender, Jacob Sommer, and his staff.
Lucy Carnahan, Director of the Chamber and Sara Beebe, Directory of Operations of CEDA are inviting the public to join them this Friday, September 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an Open House. The office is located across the parking lot from Nevada State Bank. There will be a silent auction and free raffle prizes along with light refreshments.
