Art is in the eye of the beholder, as most would say. With that in mind, I find that Fallon has much more art than one assumes.
Take a stroll down Main street with your free time, and your mask on. As you stroll down the historic street of our town, you’ll find the fantastic pieces of street art created from left behind business signs. There is an overwhelming artistic quality in the architecture of the old bank building, and the beacon of the theater’s neon sign. Perhaps old memories create some of the best art.
If you’d rather stay in an air-conditioned room, or avoid the traffic of the day, you can enjoy the same street art in its prime through photos and installations at the Churchill County Museum. Reminisce in PTA parade photos and other advertisements and memorabilia of another time. I promise you it’s art... if you look at it fondly enough.
