What’s Happening at 2975 Reno Highway?
The new owner, Tami Lynn Edgmon-Bickel, of the property at 2975 Reno Highway, has always had a dream to return to her hometown and open a business that would support and help beautify Fallon. Tami is proud to announce the opening of a new nursery/garden center, The Village.
This new business is starting with a newly remodeled (with much love) garden nursery and gift shop; however, the many phases for this land and business will be unfolding in the future. The Village will not only provide gardening products and horticultural practices with impeccable service, it will also offer the opportunity for friends, families, and neighbors to gather for fun loving activities and social community events. Tami shared, “I have a passion for gardening, love for our community, have a heart for spreading joy to others, and have been working hard-with lots of help from great local folks, friends and family to rebuild and restore a once loved nursery and garden center.”
This unique 2.96 acres offers amazing views of the Carson River along its southern border and easy access for customers with highway frontage on the northern boundary. It will be a welcoming spot for those interested in all phases of home gardening, better horticultural practices, organic knowledge, health and wellness, the principals of artistic design, and conversations centered around natural resources and civic engagement.
During the tough times faced today, Tami and her staff share their commitment to building this business. Although construction and development for the full 2.96 acres are still under way, they have adjusted and are open for essentials. A garden in these times can be so beneficial in many ways; it might be a small peaceful corner of your yard or a giant produce producing plot. Regardless, The Village is here to support the successful completion of that venture.
“We at The Villiage are cautiously observing all distancing procedures, taking extra measures for the safety of all seniors, observing guests, customers, and staff.” To help with distancing concerns shared by many, customers may order by phone. The Village also offers delivery to Fallon and all surrounding areas.
